I'm Lisa. I live in Melbourne with my teenage daughter and 2 stupid dogs, am 44 and a ridiculous fabulous fat glorious dork. I tend to fixate on things for a while, then move on to new things. They’d be fairly easy to make in kids sizes, even if you can’t crochet. Just pick any plain armwarmer pattern, and pick up and knit the plates in a contrasting colour. However, crochet probably makes stiffer plates that are less likely to flop over than knitted plates.
