These are just GREAT. I love it. Do they come in kids sizes too? Click through to make them yours!
They’d be fairly easy to make in kids sizes, even if you can’t crochet. Just pick any plain armwarmer pattern, and pick up and knit the plates in a contrasting colour. However, crochet probably makes stiffer plates that are less likely to flop over than knitted plates.
A free pattern definitely worth getting excited about. My Aussie is going to jump for joy when he sees this post. That’s right, here’s the BAMF Neville sweater!!!
Find the pattern here!
So I have been thinking that this is the year I finally get to grips with stranded colourwork. AND THEN THIS PATTERN APPEARS. I will do it, people. I will do it. I am made of awesome, as is Neville.
Knitting for Charity
Hello fellow knitters :)
I would like to start knitting for charity, and would like to know what are your favorite charities and any other recommendations?
Australian charities most welcome!
Have you seen http://knit4charities.webs.com/ ? All Australian charities, with 3 highlighted charities per month.

I don’t … get it.
I’m poly. I knit. I know lots of knitters who aren’t poly. I know lots of poly people who don’t knit.
Is there some sort of high correlation between knitting and poly?
